Delete my data

Version 2026-10

Draft for legal review. This text is a plain-language draft and has not yet been approved by a lawyer.

There are three ways to have a worker's location data deleted. Choose the one that fits. The privacy policy explains what is stored and for how long.

If you are a worker: use the app

You can delete your own data in the worker app. It needs an internet connection.

  1. Open the app and go to Settings.
  2. Choose "Leave workspace".
  3. Choose "Leave and delete my data".
  4. Confirm.

What happens when a worker deletes

Any points still waiting on your phone are discarded. Your location history on the server is erased in one step. The phone is cleared of its link to the workspace, its saved timelines and your consent record.

If there is no connection, nothing is deleted or cleared yet. Connect and try again. The plain "Leave" option in the same menu unlinks the phone but keeps the server history until its normal retention ends.

If you are an employer: use the web app

Workspace admins can delete a worker's location data from the Workers page. This works for archived workers and for workers who lost their phone or removed the app.

  1. Sign in and open Workers.
  2. Open the worker and go to Details.
  3. Choose "Delete this worker's location data".
  4. Type the worker's name to confirm.

Before an employer deletes

If a phone is still linked to the worker, open the App access tab and choose "Unlink device" first. Otherwise that phone can upload new points after the deletion.

If neither is possible: contact us

Write to us and say who you are: your name, the phone number you use for work and the name of your employer. We may ask a question or two to find the right record. We answer within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting a worker's location data removes the following.

  • All stored location points.
  • All stops and trips.
  • All worker events, such as start, end and pause.
  • The live position and the last known status.

What remains

The following is not location data and stays.

  • The worker record: name and contact details held by the employer.
  • The worker's schedule and days off.
  • The record of the revoked device.
  • Access-log rows, which contain ids and dates but never coordinates. They are kept for 12 months.

Backups

Backups age out within 30 days, so deleted data can remain in a backup until then. If a backup is ever restored, earlier deletions are applied again.
