FAQ

Questions, answered

What does the worker app do?

It records the worker's position during their scheduled hours and sends it to their employer's workspace. The worker sees their own day, what is being shared, and can pause (if the workspace allows it) or leave at any time.

Do workers have to keep the phone on?

The app tracks in the background during the scheduled hours, so the screen does not have to stay on and the app does not have to stay open. Location must stay allowed and the app should not be force-closed. A notification on Android, or the system indicator on iPhone, shows whenever tracking is active.

How much battery does it use?

The app records less often when the phone is not moving and only runs during the scheduled hours. Real usage depends on the phone and the sampling profile the employer picks, and we will publish measured numbers once we have them.

What happens when the phone is offline?

Points are saved on the phone and uploaded when the connection returns. On the map the worker shows as offline with a last seen time, and the day timeline fills in once the points arrive.

Who sees what?

Only the admins of a workspace can see their own workers' positions, and live positions only inside scheduled hours. Their views are written to an access log that the workspace can read. Platform operators never see positions. Each worker can see their own day in the app.

How do I delete data?

A worker can choose Leave and delete my data in the app. An employer can delete a worker's location data from the Workers page. If neither is possible, contact us. The Delete my data page in the footer explains each path.

How much does it cost?

We are running a pilot and agree terms directly. No prices are published yet, so please get in touch.

Which phones are supported?

The worker app is built for Android phones and iPhones. Minimum system versions will be listed with the store pages.
